Sarah McGuire is set to make her Long Beach Shakespeare Company debut in their production of 'Julius Caesar' to kick off the 2026 Season. Sarah will be featured in the role of Calpurnia, Caesar's widow, whose deseperate attempts to save Caesar's life proves unsuccessful. Under the leadership of director Glenn Kelman, this production of Julius Caesar is a traditional and historical adaptation, connecting the enduring themes of power and persuasion to the polite climate of the modern era.
Sarah last appeared in a Shakespeare production of Romeo and Juliet in the role of Benevolio in 2015, so she is thrilled to return to the timeless texts of William Shakespeare. The production runs in Long Beach, CA through the end of January to the beginning of February.
