Sarah McGuire was featured with St. John the Baptist Schola for the Premiere of a new composition from Cyprian Studios.


A brief observation of the premiere piece:


An original arrangement of the traditional tune Adoro Te Devote used with the words "Jesus, Lord, Have Mercy" by Edmund Stewart Palmer, a text beseeching God's mercy and grace for the faithful departed. First written in Swahili, it was translated and adapted into English.


The work is directed by the composer, William Fritz, and sung by Sopranos Sarah McGuire and Veronica Richards; Altos Anezka Venzlaff and Bernadette Richards; Tenors John Shaw, Anselm Friesen; Basses Gintaras Baipsys, Lawrence Yeom and Paul Yeom.
